Dr. Michael S. Selig, an accomplished applied aerodynamicist
and airfoil designer, is an Associate Professor of Aerospace
Engineering at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He received his B.S. from the University of
Illinois in 1984, his M.S.E. from Princeton University in 1988, and
his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 1992. He is the
head of the UIUC Applied
Aerodynamics Group and he has been involved in wind energy as a
blade and airfoil design consultant since 1995.
